The word “arcadia” is defined as a place offering peace and simplicity, a place in ancient Greek mythology where gods and goddesses would retreat to enhance their inner and outer beauty.
It’s exactly the type of atmosphere guests can count on at Arcadya Salon & Spa.
When Joni Stamoulis opened Arcadya in 2000, she wanted guests to experience tranquility as seen through her Greek heritage. She and her husband renovated the building on Cilley Road in Manchester to create a large room for hairstyling and a separate haven for spa services.
Since that time, Arcadya has grown to more than 10 staff members who provide the full salon experience: hair, makeup, facials and skin care, body treatments and massage, and hand and foot treatments.
Guests are always saying they are thrilled with what Arcadya offers. They cite its top-notch and well-educated staff – along with the quality of services – as some of the reasons they keep coming back and recommending the salon to friends. Arcadya offers them the slice of paradise they need – if only for a few hours.
That’s because guests know that Arcadya is all about me time.
